Mission:

The BJF vision is to provide the practical information, tools and nurturing environment that children, youth and families need to succeed.We serve our mission through four core program areas:

Education and Facilities
BJF informs and arms students, professionals and the public about the physical, emotional and practical issues that children need to succeed. Through scholarships, information, direction and facility improvements, we provide the resources children need to achieve their greatest potential.

Sports Center for Excellence - Brian Jordan is passionate about building the Sports Center for Excellence—a safe haven for underprivileged kids. The Center will provide athletic, educational and psychological counseling services.
BJ's Kids and BJ's Scholars benefits economically challenged youth by awarding scholarships to gifted students. Currently there are four students receiving Brian Jordan Foundation scholarships, including newly awarded scholars from Milford Mills Academy, his alma mater, in Baltimore, Md.

Advocacy
BJF represents underserved children, youth and families needs with passion, influence and uncommon resources. We will increase awareness, advancement in child-welfare practices and address the delinquency & health care policy concerns of children and their families.

Health and Wellness
BJF plans, develops and funds programs that provide support and services for children and their families battling poverty and at-risk behavior.

Research
BJF measures results to evaluate innovation and supports organizations and health care institutions scientific and clinical research that seeks to better understand and serve children’s physical, emotional and practical needs.
