Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation

Mission:

The Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation was established to make a profound impact on the community and help organizations to fulfill their missions. The Foundation promotes its family of partnerships, community outreach and myriad resources to add value to each monetary contribution. The Grizzlies Foundation also fosters collaboration among organizations for the more effective delivery of opportunities to urban youth through mentoring, sports and education programs.

Since December 2001, the Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Fund and Foundation have contributed over $18.5 million to local nonprofit organizations. Major programs and support include the Grizzlies Foundation Mentoring Initiative, “Get Fit With the Grizzlies,” “Honoring Our Military Families,” and I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Group Mentoring, in addition to ongoing program, operations and fundraising/ promotional support for “Foundation Partners,” agencies and schools that have received funding.
