Detroit Tigers Foundation

Mission:

From renovating baseball fields to rewarding academic achievement, the Detroit Tigers Foundation aids in the development and funding of innovative programs that promote the game of baseball and the good citizenship embodied in the storied history of the Detroit Tigers. In addition to being a grant making organization, the Foundation donates over 50,000 tickets each season to allow deserving groups of Tigers fans the opportunity to enjoy Tigers Baseball at Comerica Park.

Grantmaking Objectives:

In its grantmaking the Foundation strives to enhance lives through the game of baseball with a focus on youth, education and recreation - specifically to revive baseball in communities that lack the proper facilities, equipment and coaches.
