Dodgers Dream Foundation (Los Angeles Dodgers)

Mission:

Founded in 1998, the Dodgers Dream Foundation (DDF) was created to provide educational, athletic and recreational opportunities for the youth of the Greater Los Angeles community. The Foundation places special emphasis on helping traditionally under-served youth.

The Dodgers' Dream Fields program is the Foundation's signature initiative. The fields program is a partnership between the Dodgers, the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and local city officials. The Dodgers Dream Foundation has completed eight Dream Fields at the following sites: Dodgers Dream Field at Culver Marina Little League, Seoul International Park, Algin Sutton Recreation Center, Montecito Recreation Center, Cheviot Hills Park, Bishop Canyon Recreation Center, Wrigley Field and Evergreen Recreation Center. A ninth Dodger Dream Field is being developed at The Painted Turtle in Lake Hughes.

The DDF also supports education through a number of programs including the Team 42 scholarship program, the Times in Education Team Think Blue program and the Dodger Reading Dugout program.
