The Bowling Foundation

Mission:

The Bowling Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in partnership with the Bowling Proprietors Association of America and United States Bowling Congress created to serve as the central charitable arm of the sport of bowling, the industry, and its partners. Program partners include the Susan G. Komen for the Cure research foundation, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Bowl for Veterans Link and Special Olympics.

Important initiatives are supported through the foundation including youth bowling education, training and scholarships, the International Bowling Hall of Fame and Museum and others. For more information, visit our website or write to info@bowlingfoundation.org.

Grantmaking Objectives:

The Bowling Foundation’s Youth Bowler’s Ed In-School Bowling program provides opportunities to teach students the sport of bowling with instructional curriculum and equipment available to use in school or other facilities.   Public or private educational institutions, grades K-8, and/or or 501(c)3 non-profit organizations serving youth in grades K-8, are eligible to receive funding once every three years.  Individuals are not eligible to apply or to receive awards.  Grants awarded will be in the form of bowling equipment, (bowling lane carpets, balls and pins, with teaching curriculum and instructional DVD) to be given to the school or organization.
