Ben Roethlisberger Foundation

Mission:

The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation was established by NFL Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his family. The Foundation seeks to (a) provide support for police and fire departments throughout the US with a particular emphasis on service dogs and (b) to enhance the quality of life for residents of Findlay, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. Future plans for the Foundation also include grantmaking to nonprofit organizations assisting children in need in cities where Ben has lived and played football.

Grantmaking Objectives:

The Foundation is currently focusing on supporting police and fire departments by purchasing police/fire dogs and dog vests in selected cities. Please check the foundation website for grant application processes and deadlines - if you submit a proposal outside the announced time frame, the Foundation will keep it on file for consideration during the next grant cycle.
