Mellanby Autism Foundation (Scott Mellanby)

Mission:

The Mellanby Autism Foundation was established in 1999 by professional hockey player Scott Mellanby and his wife Susan in honor of their son Carter, who was diagnosed with autism in 1998.

The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that provide direct care services to individuals and families affected by autism. Additional support is directed to autism research. The Foundation has granted more than $300,000 to autism-related organizations since its inception.

Grantmaking Objectives:

Grants generally range from $1,000 - $10,000. Grant applications are reviewed annually and must be received by May 30th.
