Based in Princeton, New Jersey, RWJF is the nation's largest philanthropy devoted exclusively to health and health care for all Americans. The Sports Philanthropy Project was launched in October of 1998 with funding from RWJF. Over the past decade, SPP has worked with and on behalf of RWJF to develop and implement a variety of programs, capaigns, and other initiatives that have leveraged the power of professional sports to improve the health and quality of life for children and families across the U.S. and Canada.
RWJF continues to support our work - most recently, they've asked SPP to work with them to engage pro sports in the fight against childhood obesity. (More...)
